Login Credentials
Use the same username and password you received for one of the above sites
- On the Sign In Page, tap the Username Field and type in your username.
- Tap the Password Field and type in your password.
- Tap the Log In button to continue to your landing page.
NOTE: If you don't know your password, you can click on "Forgot your Password?" and follow the instructions.
Navigating CrewPad PRO
Once in, CrewPad Pro opens to the Home area. It’s here where you see all the courses, you’re currently enrolled in.
The main navigation controls are as follows:

Menu Icon - Expands and collapses the Menu. |
Search Icon - Enables you to locate courses listed on your device. | |
Profile Icon – Provides info about the user, the device and the web services. |
Synchronize CrewPad
CrewPad PRO allows you to download and synchronize your information with the TMDS Server. The exchange updates your learning progress with the server. New enrollments and course updates are also returned to CrewPad PRO to ensure you have the latest information.
There are two ways to manually sync your progress.
Option 1: Tap the Sync icon in the top right corner of the header
Option 2: Tap the Menu icon. Tap Sync Updates.
By default, CrewPad PRO synchronizes on every login when it has an Internet connection. But as you’re working through courses you can sync at any time with the Learning Management System (LMS).
You must have an Internet Connection to perform Sync Updates. Synchronizing without a secure connection results with CrewPad PRO |
Working with Enrolled Courses
View all Courses
To view all your courses:
Tap the Menu icon and tap Home.
Each course card includes the following information:
- The course completion status (Not Attempted, Incomplete, Completed, Passed or Failed)
- Percentage completed
- Lessons completed
- Days left to complete the course
View a Course
From the Course list, tap a Course card to show the Course Details.
Course Details includes the following information:
Course information - Course completion status, lessons completed and days left to complete the course
Lessons Tab - a hierarchical view of the course’s lessons and lesson blocks.
Overview Tab - shows the course description.
Working with Lessons
Download a Lesson
CrewPad PRO downloads lessons to the device, so that you can do your learning completely offline without an Internet connection.
Open a Course Details view and tap the Lessons tab.
Lessons that have not been downloaded yet are marked with a Download icon. Tap anywhere in the Lesson row to start downloading the lesson.
While the download process is underway you can Pause and Resume the download by tapping on the Lesson row. While this may delay your total download time, it could help with the order of how soon you can access specific course content for your studies. |
Download All Lessons for a Course
You can download multiple files within a Course so you can view the content offline.
Open a Course Details view and tap the Lessons tab.
Tap the Download All button.
Play a Lesson
Open a Course Details view and tap the Lessons tab.
Downloaded lessons that can be played are marked with a Play icon. Tap anywhere in the Lesson row to start playing the lesson.
Certain lessons have prerequisites and can’t be played until their prerequisite conditions are met. Lessons with prerequisites will show a Locked icon. |
Exit a Lesson
Many CBT lessons will provide an “Exit” button to end playback and return you back to the Course Details view. Your learning status is updated on the Lesson row and progress is stored on CrewPad PRO. For Pelesys courseware and exams:
Tap anywhere in the Lesson row to start playing the lesson.
Tap the Exit icon to save your progress and return to the Course Details view.
Force Quit a Lesson
Some CBT lessons may not provide an “Exit” action. To exit, you can Force Quit the lesson to return to the Course Details view.
Tap anywhere in the Lesson row to start playing the lesson.
Tap the top Toolbar... Button.
Tap the Force Quit… Button, to exit the Player.
Tap the OK Button when the Player asks you to confirm your choice. On confirming, you will be returned to the Course Details view.
Reference Courses
The References area lists additional study courses that are available to you.
Downloading the lessons follows the same process as the enrollment courses.
NOTE: Reference Course progress is not tracked.
Tap the Menu icon and tap References.
Certificates
Users have two ways of receiving their completion certificate upon successful completion of their courses:
NOTE: Certificates are not available through CrewPad Pro
- Course Completion Certificate Notification (excluding BAT Exams) - A PDF certificate is in the email notification sent to the user upon successful completion of the course.
- Pelesys TMDS https://elearningcae.pelesys.com/ - The certificate can be found under the Document tab.
Storage
The Storage area lists all the downloads you have queued, are in progress or have completed. From here, you can pause, resume, or delete any of these files.
Tap the Menu icon and tap Storage
If you’re running out of space on your device, you can delete downloaded lessons that you are no longer using. You can always download them again later. |
Profile and Settings
To access your Profile and Settings:
Tap the Profile icon.
Information displayed includes:
- User Information - Who is logged in to the device.
- System Information - App version, available space on the device for downloading courses, server URL.
- Test Server Connection - Tap this button to check the connection with the TMDS server.
- Remove User Data - Tap this button to remove all the personal data and downloads from CrewPad PRO. If you click this button before
- you perform a Data Sync you’ll lose any learning progress you’ve made.
Signing out of CrewPad PRO
Click the Profile icon
Click the Log Out Button.
